The Hillside Fire Department recently has had five (5) firefighters and fire officers retire this past July 2007.  The retirees are:

Firefighter J. Feniak with 35+ years of service Firefighter C. Herbst with 26+ years of service Deputy Chief W. Borski with 35+ years of service Deputy Chief R. Colandrea with 30+ years of service Chief R. Kreszl with 37+ years of service

We wish them all the best of health and wealth in their retirement!

Due to the above retirements, the Hillside Fire Department has the pleasure to announce the following promotions effective July, 2007:

Deputy Chief D. Naples promoted to Chief of the Department Captain J. DeLane promoted to Deputy Chief, assigned to Tour 1 Captain W. Pellettiere promoted to Deputy Chief, assigned to Tour 2 Captain T. Corso promoted to Deputy Chief, assigned to Tour 4 Firefighter J. Pienciak promoted to Captain, assigned to Tour 2 Firefighter J. Albrecht promoted to Captain, assigned to Tour 3 Firefighter T. Mateer Jr. promoted to Captain, assigned to Tour 4
